Our Tech Opportunities Program (TOP) powers the potential of first-generation students, low-income students, and students with disabilities who demonstrate academic need. Last week a special event honored 107 TOP students who achieved a 3.30 grade point average or above in fall or winter terms. The average age of Oregon Tech TOP students is 26, and nearly two-thirds are low income and first-generation students. In addition to challenging coursework, nontraditional students often have partners, full-time jobs, and children to care for.

Lots of little steps will take you far. Sometimes when you have your head down doing the work it doesn’t feel like you’ve accomplished much, until you look up to see how far you’ve come.

Together, more than 400 Owls and friends gave a combined total of $223,428 to help students during Oregon Tech's 2022 Give A Hoot Day fundraising extravaganza!
