Oregon Tech President, Dr. Naganathan, Recuperating from Positive COVID-19 Diagnosis

Oregon Tech president, Dr. Nagi Naganathan, received a positive diagnosis for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Dec. 1 and is recuperating. 

Following current Oregon guidance, Dr. Naganathan has had limited contact with individuals and has not been on campus since November 23. Consistent with our current practices, Oregon Tech will work with County public health officials to assist the county in its standard case investigation processes.

Oregon Senate Confirms New Student and Staff Trustee Representatives for Oregon Tech Governing Board

The Oregon Senate confirmed two new trustees for the governing board of Oregon Tech: Tim Hasty, a current student at Oregon Tech’s Klamath Falls campus; and Michele Vitali, Oregon Tech’s administrative lead at the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center Research & Development (OMIC) in Scappoose.

Oregon Tech Student Wins Statewide Transportation Engineers Scholarship

Cynthia Roe, a Civil Engineering student at Oregon Tech, has been selected as recipient of the 2020-21 Oregon undergraduate Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Scholarship, a scholarship valued at $2,500 to promote the advancement of the transportation profession by providing financial assistance to students pursuing degrees in transportation engineering or other related fields.
