A Little Bit About Me
I graduated as valedictorian from my high school and received an academic and athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Oregon Tech. This was perfect because I get to do what I love while getting the degree I want. While I wanted to play sports, my priority was getting a good education- I was blessed enough to get to have both.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because of the great engineering programs they have. I was also blessed to also earn a scholarship to play volleyball as well. It was unbelievably exciting that both my athletic and academic goals lined up with one another as well as these two did.
My Influential Professors
Tim Pasang has been very influential in my education. He is fantastic in and out of the classroom. He has helped me with internship possibilities and genuinely cares about his students.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
The hands-on aspect of Oregon Tech has been very beneficial to my education. Learning the concepts in class, and then directly applying them in the lab with hardware has significantly increased my understanding of all aspects of electrical design.
My Plans After Graduation
My plan is to graduate with my bachelor's in electrical engineering and master's in renewable energy engineering. I am hoping to apply these degrees to help contribute to the developments necessary in the years to come.
