A Little Bit About Me

As far as I can remember, I was always outside exploring. I love nature and all of the experiences it comes with. I've hiked many mountains like Mt. Ashland, Table Rock, Roxy Anne, and many more. I've skied, biked, swam, surfed, and climbed. My father was a collegiate-level hockey player, so athletics are a big part of my family. My sports were volleyball and basketball, which I played for about six years. Competition runs through my veins, so naturally, I had to be a high-achieving student. My parents are always there cheering me on to do well in school. They never let me give up, especially during the tough years of distance learning. I am focused and a hard worker because of their parenting. My biggest supporter would be my sister. I could not imagine my life without her.

Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major

I chose Oregon Tech because I knew I wanted to be a part of an amazing program where they respect and value their students. I've heard great things about Oregon Tech from peers, teachers, and alumni. I decided to go into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program because ultrasound is fascinating to me, and I can see myself having this job for many years.

My Plans After Graduation

After I graduate from Oregon Tech, I plan on working in the hospital and getting as many hours as possible. I want to be on call so I can focus on acquiring lots of experience in my new job. Being the best at what I'm passionate about is my focus. My patients are my number one goal, and I want to give them the best care they can receive.
