Strong Start Program

Strong Start Graphic

Oregon Tech's Strong Start Program gives incoming freshman or transfer students the opportunity to learn valuable skills in preparation for their first year of college. During the summer, students can attend one of multiple workshops covering various topics about what it means to be an accomplished college student. These workshops allow the students to get a Strong Start in the upcoming school year and succeed in their classes.

How Strong Start is Beneficial

This program allows students to get a strong start on their college experience. Because workshops are in the summer, students have time to prepare and utilize the skills they learn before the school year begins. This allows the student to ask their advisors any questions they might have regarding the material they learn through their workshop.
