Oregon Institute of Technology and Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) will sign a dual enrollment agreement at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in the Calapooia Center Board Room at Linn-Benton Community College.
The dual enrollment agreement allows students to become concurrently enrolled at each institution. By doing so, students who intend on obtaining a bachelor’s degree at OIT can maximize credit transfer. Dual enrollment empowers students to access resources for a smoother transition to a four-year program. These services include financial aid, advising, and student services.
Oregon Tech and LBCC have standing partnerships aligning curriculum for multiple academic programs to enhance student transfer of courses. The dual enrollment agreement will encourage future alignment of various academic programs.
