Congratulations to Oregon Tech graduate student Serena Moha, EI for presenting her research at the 2024 Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying (OSBEELS) Symposium. The symposium gathered more than 1,000 Oregon engineering and surveying professionals to highlight impactful work being done throughout the state. Moha is originally from Warrenton, Ore., and will graduate from Oregon Tech in 2025 with a bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering. Moha began the research with fellow student Kacie Schmidt. Moha presented her current research project, "Investigating Crack Resistance of Southern Oregon Asphalt Pavement Mixtures,” which investigates the effect of incorporating aramid/polyolefin fibers into asphalt mixes.
