Tuesday, August 8, a widespread of wildfires plagued the island of Maui, destroying thousands of miles of land and taking hundreds of lives. Families were forced to evacuate from their homes on short notice, many only escaping with the clothes on their back. Oregon Tech recognizes that within our community we have many students, staff, and faculty from the islands of Hawai'i, including Maui.
We send condolences to those affected by the ongoing wildfires and hope to continue using our voice as a university to help, including providing the following resources.
