Dr. Charles “C.J.” Riley, professor of Civil Engineering at Oregon Tech, has been selected as the recipient of the 2021 American Society of Civil Engineers Oregon Section Government Engineer of the Year award.
Dr. Riley’s accomplishments recognized by ASCE include graduate program director and advisor of the ASCE-AGC student chapter, 2021 Outstanding Teaching Award by the American Society of Engineering Education Pacific Northwest Section, and Oregon Tech Steel Bridge Team Advisor for this year’s nationals winning team.
“I’m glad to have maintained such a strong connection to ASCE and all they offer our students,” shared Dr. Riley. “It’s such a wonderful professional network to be a part of.”
