Social distancing is ongoing in response to the coronavirus outbreak, but work continues to get done. We are making great progress on oregontech‘s new Center for Excellence in Engineering and Technology. The project includes new classrooms, high-bay labs, and lots of space for department and graduate offices. Central to the design is a large maker space, giving students of any major the opportunity to come in and work on projects. It speaks to the larger idea that you don’t have to be an engineer to love making things.
