Martha Anne Dow, fifth president of Oregon Institute of Technology, died 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at her residence in Brush Prairie, Wash. She was surrounded by her family, including her husband of 47 years, Gary, their three children and six grandchildren.
Two services were held to celebrate Dr. Dow's life. The first was a private service for family members and invited guests on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, in Camas, Wash. Oregon University System Chancellor George Pernsteiner officiated the service. His eulogy and prayer may be found as links on the right hand side of this page.
The second, public service was held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, in Klamath Falls at the Ross Ragland Theater.
