Seven entrepreneurial students from Oregon Tech competed in Catalyze Klamath Falls last night to turn their product ideas and prototypes into real businesses. The winning concept was developed by students Lauren Sadrin and Mauricio Huntoon DeRoche and is known as Deep Dive Robotics. The winning projects were: ️🥇 First Place – Deep Dive Robotics: $5,000 prize ️🥈 Second Place – Juniper Joy: $3,000 prize ️🥉 Third Place – ACA: $2,000 prize ️🏅 Entrepreneur in Action – ACA: $1,000 prize ️🏅 People’s Choice – Juniper Joy: $1,000 prize Deep Dive Robotics and Juniper Joy also received the Invent Oregon (Inventor) award to further develop their business plans and compete against other colleges and universities in the statewide InventOR competition on June 22.
