I have been with the Oregon Tech Admissions office since December of 2003. I started out at the front desk and then transferred in October of 2006 to our back office as one of two Administrative Program Assistants where I process applications and transcripts. I was born in California but moved with my family to Klamath Falls, Oregon when I was 11. I really enjoy the Klamath Basin with it’s beautiful scenery and four seasons. I feel there is always something to do sunshine or snow! In my spare time, I’m most likely enjoying an activity around Klamath Falls with my husband, kids and 3 grandchildren!
What is Great About Oregon Tech
I think it’s great that Oregon Tech class sizes are small so you get to know your instructors and the other students in your classes. I also believe we offer some of the best programs around with students that will graduate and succeed in their career.
Favorite Place on Campus
During the summer months I enjoy walking around our beautiful campus. We have a wonderful view of Klamath Lake and the view changes with each season. In the winter I enjoy sitting by the fireplace in the College Union watching the snow come down.
Why I Enjoy Working in Admissions
I enjoy working in admissions because I get to experience the excitement of students as they begin their dream of college and a career that they will enjoy for a lifetime.
