Marriage and Family Therapy

Practice Based Learning for Excellence Based Practice

The Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Program is a 3-year, full-time graduate program located in Klamath Falls, OR. The Program equips students to become trauma-informed and culturally responsive MFTs. With an emphasis on rural mental health care, students leave the MFT Program ready to work with diverse clients in rural and urban areas.

Through course instruction and hands-on learning opportunities, students learn how to connect contemporary issues to symptom presentation and case conceptualization of individuals, couples, and families – equipping them with necessary skills and abilities for the evolving field that awaits. The MFT Program offers advanced specialty training in Integrated Behavioral Healthcare and Medical Family Therapy (MedFT) and substance misuse, addiction, and recovery. Students leave our program with the educational requirements to become Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III (CADC III).
