Certificates available from Oregon Tech
New for Fall 2024, Oregon Tech is launching 12 new certificates designed to boost your knowledge and skills in new areas. Most of these certificates are only six classes and can be completed in as little as three terms, or completed over a longer period, based on your needs.
Why would you consider a certificate instead of a degree? Certificates have a direct focus and a shorter time commitment. For all certificates other than our Polysomnography program, we suggest you apply using our Non-Degree Seeking application. The Non-Degree application does not have an application fee and there aren't any admission requirements to meet!
Application Process
Admission to Oregon Tech as a degree-seeking student is not required for most of the certificates above. Instead we recommend our Non-Degree Seeking application. Financial aid is not offered to certificate students but a payment plan is available. Applicants to the Polysomnography certificate must apply as an Online First-Year or Online Transfer student.
Follow the steps below to get started:
- Submit the Non-Degree Seeking Application.
- Watch for an email from the Admissions Office confirming you are admitted.
- Register yourself for classes when registration opens.
Non-degree seeking students do not pay application fee or matriculation fee since they are not attending a degree program. We also do not require official transcripts from your prior schools. You could complete up to 8 credits per term in fall, winter, and spring terms, and 15 credits in summer term.
