Health Care Management

Are you a health care professional with a desire to improve your management or supervisory skills, increase your employment opportunities or move in the direction of graduate work? Oregon Tech's online degree programs may hold the key.

Oregon Tech's Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management offers two options for students wishing to pursue management or supervisory roles in various health care fields:

  • Clinical Option
  • Radiologic Science Option

You'll study management and business subjects in both options which will have immediate relevance in the health care industry.

Students are awarded credits in recognition of an approved health care registry. These registry credits are integrated with courses in management as well as a general education core. Students must have a current state or national registry in an approved allied health field for the clinical option, or hold the ARRT registry for the Radiologic Science Option.

About Our Programs

Clinical Option

This program offers continuing education, advancement or new career options, and the bachelor's degree required for entry into master's degree programs.

Students begin the program with a foundation built upon two sources: credit transferred from another college and credit granted for professional licensure or registry. For this degree, 44 credits will be granted for licensure or registry.

Radiologic Science Option

This program integrates credits granted specifically for the Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry. This degree completion option provides the opportunity to obtain management information which can be applied directly to the radiologic science field with no requirement for patient contact or clinical practice. The emphasis in the program is directed toward management of a medical imaging facility. 89 credits are awarded for a current ARRT.

Who is Eligible?

  1. You must provide documentation of a current state and/or national registry, license, or certificate in an approved allied health field. Students applying for the Radiologic Science option must provide a current RRT credential through ARRT.
