Applying to the Oregon Tech-OHSU Clinical Laboratory Science Program is a two-step process.
Step One - Oregon Tech Admission (Non-Oregon Tech Students)
If you are not already an Oregon Tech student, you must first apply for admission to Oregon Tech in order to be considered for admission into the Clinical Laboratory Science program. You may apply online here. Select "Pre CLS" for your major. You will be considered a transfer student. You can find information on transfer students here - Transfer Students.
Your Clinical Laboratory Science program application will not be considered if you do not have an Oregon Tech admissions application on file in the Oregon Tech Admissions Office. Please note: 1) full admission status is required for entry into the CLS Professional Program; 2) Admission to Oregon Tech does not mean that you are accepted to the Clinical Lab Science professional program.
Step Two - CLS Program Application for Admission
You must apply to the CLS program by completing an application. Read all of the Application Instructions for complete details. Before contacting the CLS Department Office with your questions, you are strongly encouraged to read the FAQs.
Applications to the Clinical Lab Science program are accepted from September 1 through December 31. Applications submitted before September 1 are not accepted.
Final acceptance into the professional program is contingent upon receipt of official transcript(s) by the CLS Department Office, not later than two weeks before classes begin, indicating successful completion of any pre-requisite courses listed as ‘in progress’ at the time of application.
