Operations Management
About the Program
The OIT Bachelor of Science in Operations Management (OM) will equip you with a strong theoretical and applied problem-solving background. Industry experienced instructors, working closely in small, focused classes prepare students to address issues related to productivity, management, quality control and team-based operations environments.
The OM program provides you with the skills to be an effective manager with a core of management courses, business computer applications and focused courses in manufacturing and service operations. Individualized projects give real-world experience in solution implementation so you can step into business management roles and/or pursue a master's degree.
Why a degree from OIT?
OIT's Operations Management courses are offered evenings and weekends, providing flexibility to the working professional wanting to complete a bachelor's degree. The program is focused on operations management rather than general business studies, providing graduates with skills in analyzing costs, timing, quality control, staffing, equipment and more to be able to plan effective production schedules. Graduates learn to "think like engineers and act like executives." OIT is training tomorrow's industrial leaders so they can enjoy challenging and personally rewarding careers.
