The Administrative Council represents the ideas and interests of administrative staff members to the President and other campus entities. The Administrative Council:
- Serves in an advisory capacity to the President and other administrators;
- Maintains ongoing contact with the Faculty Senate;
- Considers appropriate campus-wide issues where the input and/or interests of administrative staff are relevant, and makes appropriate recommendations regarding these issues;
- Reviews proposed Oregon Institute of Technology policies and procedures and advises appropriate parties accordingly.
** Elections Announcement 2012 **
The Administrative Council elections have resulted in Abbie Allen, Genevieve Predmore and Suzie Petersen being named to two-year terms starting July 1.
Bill Proebstel has been elected to a two-year term on Faculty Senate.
Following the needed run-off election, an equally close election finds Marla Edge being elected to a one-year term on Faculty Senate, filling out the term left vacant Joan Loustalet’s departure.
Congratulations to those elected and our thanks to the other candidates for their willingness to serve and their commitment to Oregon Tech.
