Demographic Trends 2008-2013

Demographics trends are important to planning and student services. With changing demographics comes changing student needs and educational objectives. The trend lines are important and thus graphs were chosen to help visualize the data.

Some graphs have two scales one on the left vertical axis and one on the right vertical axis. This is usually because one data set is much larger than the rest being compared together. Mouse over the graph for data display or click on the legend items to single out a particular data set. The shaded area hopefully allows for quick visual of an increase or decrease over time. For instance the transfer status trend graph shows the increase of transfer students as a percent of the total students, while both are increasing over time. This type of trending might help planning, especially if funding is tied to 40-40-20 system rules.
