Transfer Student Scholarship

Scholarships specific to students transferring from a community college to a four-year college or university.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship
Due Date: Varies by campus
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

Graduate Student Scholarship

Opportunities that are also open to master degree students.

2014-15

Interior Deluxe Scholarship
Due Date: April 15, 2015
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Eligibility: open to students of all majors in all countries who are 16 years of age or older.  All are encouraged to apply for our scholarship - including High school students, undergraduate students, master degree students, and adult learners.

Due Date:
April 15, 2015
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, pursuing a Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree, and a resident of the United States.

Goedeker’s College Scholarship
Due Date:
July 31, 2014
Scholarship Amount: $500, plus two honorable mentions at $100
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled at an accredited college for the spring 2015 semester or registered for the fall 2015 semester. A 300-word essay is required.

Klamath County Republican Women Scholarship

April 30, 2015
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Full time Oregon Tech or KCC students (male or female), with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and who are registered Republicans.

The Drive to Learn Scholarship
Due Date
: May 1, 2015
Scholarship Amount:$1,000
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled full time at a single educational institution within the continental United States. A 750-1000 word essay is required. Please view Shift Insurance’s website for the essay prompts.

Scholarship Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: Any student currently enrolled in an accredited US college or university is eligible to apply. Please note that you will also need to be enrolled when the scholarship is awarded (in this case, fall 2015).

P.E.O. Scholarship
Due Date: June 24, 2015 
Scholarship Amount: $500 minimum
Eligibility: Open to women currently enrolled at Oregon Institute of Technology or Klamath Community College. Academic standing, financial need and potential to reach goals are the three most important criteria. Preference will be given to students with unique circumstances, such as women reentering school after a significant break in education, women who have dependents, etc.

Spokeo Connections Scholarship

: July 1, 2015 
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a two or four year college or university in the spring of 2015 with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents of the United States. A 1,000-1,600 word essay is required.

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be an aspiring future entrepreneur who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate business program at a college or university or is a high school student who has been accepted into a school with an undergraduate business program.

Scholarship Amount: $500
