How do I get my textbooks?
Students are responsible for obtaining their textbooks before classes begin. Every effort is made to notify students as soon as possible when classes reach "GO" status.
Textbooks for each term are listed on the class status report sent to the students on a weekly basis during term registration. If you have not received a class status report, or the class you are interested in does not have a textbook listed contact the OIT-Boeing program office.
The OIT-Boeing Program does not require students to purchase books from any particular booksellar or bookstore. Barnes and Noble offers Boeing employees a 5% discount and free shipping. Their website is available through Boeing's webpage under "most popular sites." Other websites include:
Composite textbooks -- due to the high costs of the composite textbooks, the OIT-Boeing Program Office has arranged for two of the textbooks to be obtained at reduced costs. You may obtain your composite textbooks from any bookseller; however, to order the textbooks at the discounted price:
Textbook: Mfg Processes for Advanced Composites Current cost $191.71.
- Click on "Mfg Processes for Advanced Composites" and fill out the order form.
- Send order form to OIT-Boeing Program Office at 60-AM, or fax to 425-234-1091.
- Send a personal check to the program office to cover the $41.71 that LTP does not pay for -- made out to OIT.
- OIT bills LTP directly for the remaining $150, and will send a receipt for the $41.71 which can then be turned in for reimbursement when the student takes the second class requiring the textbook.

- Give your instructor's name, give the course title
- You will need to have a credit card for purchasing the book, unless you make arrangements with ASM for another method of payment

To obtain reimbursement for textbooks, go to LTP's website and click on their reimbursement link.
** Students taking two composite classes will automatically be able to receive reimbursement for both books. Students taking only one class and needing to order both books will need to submit the ASM reimbursement when they take the second composite class.
