KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech used an 18-4 run over a seven minute span at the midway point of the first half, securing a 36-16 advantage, on the way to a 76-34 win in tonight’s exhibition contest versus Northwest Indian College.

The Lady Owls (8-3) will meet the NWIC Eagles again tomorrow before resuming Cascade Collegiate Conference action this Friday versus No. 22 College of Idaho and Saturday against No. 10 Eastern Oregon University. Monday’s game against NWIC will be played prior to the Oregon Tech men’s contest versus New Hope Christian College. The women tip-off at 5:30PM with the men to follow at 7:30PM.
Colleen Hunt led the Owls with a team-high 12 points on a 5-for-7 effort from the field. Karly Leveque, also 5-for-7 shooting, finished with 11 points with Tess Armstrong adding 9 points and 4 rebounds. Seven other Owls scored 6 points each, as 11 different players registered points in the game. Karissa Dixon would record a game-high 6 assists to go with 6 rebounds with Rebekah Matteri grabbing a game-high 8 rebounds in the win for Tech.
Rochone Quasula scored a game-high 15 points for the Eagles with Marisa Squeochs adding 7 points and Kyla Fajman 6 points, all from the 3-point line.
The Owls finished the night 32-for-74 shooting (43.2%), while holding NWIC to just 20.5% (9-for-44) on the night. Tech held a 60-22 advantage on the boards, including 25 from the offensive end.
