Warner Pacific, which earned two first-place votes, totaled 79 points and placed third. Southern Oregon also earned two first place votes and is picked fourth with 73 points.

The Raiders were followed by Northwest (70 points), College of Idaho (45), Corban (39), Concordia (37), Northwest Christian (25) and Evergreen (11).

Oregon Tech, under the direction of veteran coach Danny Miles, is coming off a 34-4 campaign last season, when it captured the NAIA D II National Championship along with the CCC regular season and postseason tournament titles.

The Hustlin’ Owls key returners include senior guard David Clarke, sophomore center Josh Johnson and junior forward Mihajilo Matic.

Conference action gets underway in early December. The top eight teams in the final regular season standings will advance to the CCC’s postseason tournament.
