KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - A 16-game regular-season home schedule, along with an exhibition game at NCAA I University Nevada-Reno, will highlight the 2012-13 Oregon Tech men’s basketball schedule.

Oregon Tech, coming off their third NAIA DII National Championship in 2012, begins the 2012-13 campaign at Danny Miles Court with games versus University of California-Merced, along with Pacific Union College, on Friday, November 2nd, and Sunday, November 4th

The Hustlin’ Owls will then travel to Reno, Nev. and face the Wolf Pack of UNR on Tuesday, November 6th in an exhibition game at the Lawlor Events Center on the campus of University of Nevada.  Last season Nevada claimed the 2012 Western Athletic Conference title after finishing the season with a 13-1 conference mark to go with a 28-7 overall record.  The WAC title is the sixth for Nevada since joining the conference for the 2000-01 season, and the sixth in the last eight years. UNR received a bid to the National Invitational Tournament last year, defeating Oral Roberts in the first round, while knocking off Bucknell in round 2, before bowing out in a semifinal loss to Stanford, 84-56.

After the exhibition at UNR, the Owls will entertain Multnomah University, before closing out the month of November hosting the Midland Empire Insurance Classic, as Cal Pac member William Jessup University and NCAA II Holy Names University join rival Southern Oregon University in the two-day tournament held on November 16th and November 17th.

Tech opens up December with a non-league contest versus New Hope Christian before opening up Cascade Collegiate Conference action in Klamath Falls versus Eastern Oregon University and The College of Idaho.

Along with the national championship, the Hustlin’ Owls won their fourth-straight Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season title and a fourth-straight conference tournament championship, while finishing with a school-record 34 wins last season.
