KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Head coach Jack Kegg announced that Aaron Browne-Moore (Medford, Ore.) and Jordyn Keys (Brookings, Ore.) will become the newest members of the track and field team at Oregon Tech beginning next season.
Browne-Moore, was two inches off the North Medford record in the triple jump with a PR of 44-09 which would also put him 4th in the Oregon Tech record books. Aaron was part of the Black Tornado school record 4x100 relay team this past year with a time of 42.77. His personnel best in the 400 meter is 49.9 which would place him 6th on Tech’s all-time best list.
“Aaron is a great leader with amazing potential as a triple jumper and long sprinter at the collegiate level.” Kegg mentioned. “Aaron is an instant impact athlete in the improving track team.”
Browne-Moore is the son of Daniel Moore and Andrea Browne-Moore and plans to major in Computer Engineering at Oregon Tech beginning in the fall.
Keys, from Brookings-Harbor High School in Brookings, Ore. currently holds PR times in the 100 meter at 13.84, while timing in at 62.52 in the 400 meter race and 2:32.05 in the 800 meters.
“Jordyn has been a strong relay leg in her school, competing in 2 state meets as a relay member.” said Kegg. “My hope is that she will bring that strong sense of team and working with others to our program.”
Keys is the daughter of Jim and Vanessa Keys and plans to be Radiology Science major at Oregon Tech beginning this fall.
