Oregon Tech Women’s Soccer Adds Pendleton Defender

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –Oregon Tech Head Soccer Coach Mike Hedlund announced the recent addition of Jessika McDonald from Pendleton High School to the 2014 Oregon Tech roster.

McDonald, a 5-11 defender, was a first team all conference honoree by the Columbia River Conference this past season. She has been a 4 year varsity letter winner in soccer and was also voted all-conference this past year in both basketball and track while maintaining a 3.8 GPA.

“Jessika is a great athlete, having been named All-Conference in three separate sports.” said Hedlund. “She has the size and strength to be a dominant defender and should help the team in the air. She’ll have the chance to learn from one of the best defenders, and keepers in the Cascade Conference. I’m really looking forward to watching Jessika develop over the next four years.”

McDonald is the daughter of Shelly and Arthur McDonald of Pendleton, Oregon. She plans on majoring in Clinical Laboratory Science at Oregon Tech.
