Softball Suspended in 5th with UBC
REDDING, CA – The Oregon Tech Lady Owls softball team kicked off the 2014 season against the University of British Columbia and managed to get 4 and half innings of play in before the game suspended in the bottom of the 5th due to heavy rainfall and unsafe playing conditions.  The game was tied at 4-4 when play was suspended. Alyssa Davis had a 2-run Homerun, and Rylee Carleton had 8 strikeouts at the time of the suspension to lead the Owls. All other games for the rest of the day have been cancelled. The two teams will try to conclude this game on Saturday.
