Oregon Tech Adds All-League Pitcher to Roster

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head coach Matt Miles recently announced the signing of pitcher John Schulz (Carlsbad, Calif.) to the 2015 baseball roster.

Schulz, a left handed pitcher at Calvary Christian High School, was a two sport athlete for the Lions and named the teams’ outstanding pitcher his junior season, also receiving league honors for his work on the mound. John was also honored as a scholar-athlete, maintaining above a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.

“I am excited about John joining our program next season as he has the ability to become a difference maker on the mound,” said Miles.  He will be a great fit at Oregon Tech due to his character and being a true student-athlete.”

John is the son of John and Robbie Schulz and plans to major in mechanical engineering at Oregon Tech next fall.
