Oregon Tech's Kassi Conditt Scores Two Against the Ducks
EUGENE, Ore. – In Oregon Tech’s last exhibition women’s basketball game of the season,
and first-ever versus a NCAA DI team, the University of Oregon ran past
the Owls by a 116-51 final tonight at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
Oregon Tech’s woes looked to be from long range, as the Owls finished 0-for-24 from the 3-point line, while the Ducks connected on 16 of their own for a 48 point differential. U of O finished at a 47% clip from the floor with Tech knocking down just 14-for-77 overall for an 18% effort. The Owls finished 23-for-32 from the charity stripe with U of O hitting 14-for-22.
Kassi Conditt, who was a dynamic force on both ends of the floor, finished with a double-double with 18 points to go with 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals to lead Tech. Karly Leveque netted 14 points with Maria Ramirez grabbing 11 rebounds to go with five points. Kiana Caban also had five points, followed by four points from Tess Armstrong.
Oregon Tech will resume regular-season action this Friday and Saturday when the Owls travel to Rocklin, Calif. and take on William Jessup University and The Masters College at the WJU Invitational.
