Oregon Tech at No. 19 in 4th edition of NAI A XC Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After a sixth place showing at last week’s Charles Bowles Invitational the Oregon Tech men’s cross country team remains in the top 20, jumping one spot to No. 19 from last week, in the fourth regular-season edition of the NAIA Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Wednesday.

St. Francis (Ill.) remains atop the rankings for the sixth-straight poll. The defending national champions claimed 20 first-place votes and 621 points in the fourth regular-season edition.

Cascade Conference member Southern Oregon earned 601 total points and the remaining two first-place votes to claim the No. 2 ranking. Aquinas (Mich.) accumulated 583 points en route to the No. 3 position and Rounding out the top five are No. 4 Shawnee State (Ohio) and No. 5 British Columbia with 534 and 528 points, respectively.

Other CCC teams are Eastern Oregon who jumped five spots from No. 12 a week ago to crack the Top 10 at No. 7 with Northwest Christian remaining at No. 15.  Concordia is receiving votes in the latest poll.
