Congratulations! You’ve taken an important step in planning your future as an Oregon Tech student. Now, the question is…what happens next?

Your application will be received by the Admissions office the next day. We will hold your application in “incomplete” or pending status until we have received all application materials (application fee, high school transcripts, SAT scores, college transcripts, etc.)

For a complete list of required application items, log back into your application if you applied online:

  • Go to www.oit.edu/myappstatus
  • Input your username/email and password which you created when you started the application
  • Select “Submit Supplemental Items” to see which items we still need from you
  • If you have already submitted an item, please allow 5-7 business days for processing

Please check your processed application often; we sometimes change your requirements as we receive your outstanding documents.

No. Applications for admission will only be reviewed for admission once all of the supporting application materials have been received. Once all of the materials have been received your application status on your online application (at www.oit.edu/myappstatus) will change from "Incomplete" to "Complete – Ready for Review".

Once your application is complete, it will be reviewed for admission. Please be patient as you await your admission decision. Decisions are made on a rolling basis and can take anywhere from a few days to one week depending on the time of year. When a decision is made, you will receive a letter in the mail. You can also call or email the admissions office; please include your full name and date of birth.

You are notified via email when your admission status is updated. If admitted, your official letter is provided in electronic form at www.oit.edu/myappstatus.

Non-degree seeking applicants are notified via email only.

You will be automatically considered for WUE if you're coming from a WUE eligible state and select a WUE eligible program. Fall applicants will automatically be considered for WUE scholarships once admitted.

Oregon Tech offers several different kinds of scholarships. Presidential scholarships for residents, WUE, and nonresidents, Engineering majors, and Klamath County residents are automatically awarded if you're admitted for the Fall term and meet the eligibility criteria by March 1.
