A Little Bit About Me
I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 and have been given the opportunity to play at Oregon Tech while I’ll be studying nursing. My favorite subject has always been science. I thrived in chemistry and anatomy and physiology. I’m in the national honors society and will be receiving an award from my school for my grades throughout my career.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose nursing because I’ve always wanted to help people. Nursing is something I’ve always wanted to do and is a good fit for my personality. I chose Oregon Tech because of the amazing nursing program and the soccer program.
My Greatest Learning Experience
My freshman year of high school was when COVID started and shut down all the schools. Trying to learn through a computer screen isn’t very ideal and easy. Throughout online school, I learned a lot about myself and how I learn best. With that experience, I became a better student because I was able to navigate what is helpful for me and what is not and I’m glad I can go into college where the workload is going to be more rigorous and know what makes me a successful student.
My Plans After Graduation
After I graduate with my degree, I want to go to a hospital near my hometown and work in pediatrics.
